International blockchain experts to attend FinTech Open Mic Night
Digital Jersey invites people in the digital finance and fintech industries to attend the FinTech Open Mic Night at the Hub in St. Helier on April 28th. The night’s topic, blockchain technology, will feature international blockchain experts, according to the press release sent to CoinReport.
The event is hosted by New Finance, a global network of more than 8,500 individuals involved in using technology toward financial innovation.
James Carlyle, chief engineer at R3CEV, will be the event’s key speaker. R3CEV is a consortium of 43 banks worldwide looking to develop and deliver blockchain technology to global financial markets. The Open Mic Night will be the first time Jersey welcomes Carlyle to speak about blockchain technology and the consortium’s progress.
The event’s other speakers include:
- Genevieve Leveille, founder and CEO of KrypC – Leveille will discuss how her company is developing technologies that will make it easier for companies to connect to the blockchain.
- Justin Hunt of the Bitcoin & Blockchain Leadership Forum – Hunt will discuss the impact of blockchain technology within the finance industry.
- Miguel Neumann, co-founder and COO of DXMarkets – Neumann will discuss how DXMarkets is working with financial institutions to create customized blockchain solutions.
