Circle asks social payments app users to ‘share the love’ in $10K contest

Financial technology firm Circle is running a contest encouraging users of its social payments app to send money to friends with the chance to win $10,000.

To participate in the “Share the Love” contest, which runs until June 30, you must download and sign up for the Circle Pay app (available for Android and iOS), connect your debit card and send a friend some money along with a photo or GIF, and enter the promo code IHEARTCIRCLE under “Settings.”

For a chance at wining another $5,000, contestants can screenshot their transaction, post it on Twitter or Instagram and tag @circlepay and use the hashtag #iheartcircle.

The contest is open to U.S. residents who are 18 and older, and accepts only one entry per person in both the $10,000 and $5,000 competitions. Circle will announce the winner of the two monetary prize on July 3 and deposit the money into the winners’ Circle accounts.
