Martin Print: First Known Print and Design Service to Accept Bitcoin
Australian print and design service, Martin Print, has become the first of its kind to welcome bitcoin payments. The Sydney-based company offers print and design services for business cards, stickers, magnets, office stationery, brochures, and more.

Martin Russell, owner of the printing company, feels bitcoin’s continued popularity is reason enough for his business to be part of it. Russell says:
“We’re proud and excited to become an early adopter of this digital cryptocurrency. We’re confident it will help us to connect with new clients who consider Bitcoin to be the preferable payment choice.”
Ultimately, Russell took exeption to bitcoin after customers began showing their interest in digital currencies. He listened to the wants of his clients, and he was able to deliver. Clients are already using their bitcoins at the printing center, and Russell believes over time, more people will pay for the service in bitcoin as the crypto-currency market grows.
For the time being, Russell plans on selling his bitcoins on the open market, until he buckles down and hires a payment processor service.
The Martin Print owner hopes to attract businesses and individuals to accept bitcoin. Russell feels his businesses can help spread digital currency awareness:
“I genuinely believe that Bitcoin transactions will help keep Martin Print one digital step ahead of the competition. I’d advise any business to take a serious look at this new way of serving a chunk of the market. I am hoping our lead will cause others to follow.”
Australian Bitcoin Businesses
Australian businesses ranging from IT solutions to Real estate agencies have adopted bitcoin for its convenience and straightforwardness. The digital currency also helps to broaden clientele.
Sydney realty, Forsyth Real Estate, allows buyers from out of the country to buy and rent homes, since bitcoin is not region specific. Though the agency hasn’t had an overhaul of customers wanting to use bitcoin, the option is there. Optimism over bitcoin acceptance is necessary for the currency to succeed, and Australia knows that.
IT solutions provider Ellenet has also begun welcoming bitcoin, as well as litecoin. Director of Ellenet, Estelle Asmodelle claimed:
“Crypto currencies are the future, it’s plainly obvious and people need to understand that Bitcoin and other coins are not going away. Without sounding terse, you can’t stop progress.”
It is clear that bitcoin has a bright future in the down under.
