Bitcoin Bigfoot is a company that seeks to inspire bitcoin supporters and empower bitcoin activist by providing promotional tools, propaganda, paraphernalia, and more. Their initial offering is the Plan ฿ brochure. The company intends to take part in spreading the knowledge of bitcoin and to raise awareness. The platform was created as a necessity for bitcoin activists to help service the bitcoin community.

Bitcoin Bigfoot has developed a showcase they call the Plan ฿ brochure. It was designed to assist bitcoin activists to educate what the company calls the ‘bit-curious’. The company was founded in late 2013.

The goal of this brochure is to simplify the overwhelming information that’s out there today on bitcoin and to present it to the general public in a simplistic, informative way. Benefits of Bitcoin and Bitcoin related companies are highlighted to suggest starting points for the newcomers. The company looks to distribute 500,000 brochures this year.

CoinMKT Bitcoin Exchange

CoinMKT is the latest sponsor of the Bitcoin Bigfoot. CoinMKT is a bitcoin exchange that allows the trading of bitcoin and accepts US dollars.

The exchange held its beta test back in September 2013, and has since conducted trade volumes worth $10 million. CoinMKT director of marketing, Vaughn Blake says:

“With the Plan ฿ brochure, Bitcoin Bigfoot has created an excellent, organic, and tangible way to introduce bitcoin to the masses. It’s old school peer-to-peer, a 21st century version of Thomas Paine handing out ‘Common Sense’ in the town square”.

The US-based exchange prides itself in being compliant with US AML and KYC regulation due to its partnership with CoinComply. CoinComply claims to be the solution for illegal crypto currency money laundering. CoinMKT is also registered with FinCEN as an MSB to comply with the FinCEN rulings.

Bitcoin Bigfoot looks to take bitcoin activists, and turn them into bitcoin heroes. The brochures will be sent out to be distributed by American and Canadian bitcoin activists. 100,000 brochures are expected to be delivered within a 90 day period.

Welcoming Mt.Gox Traders

Japanese bitcoin exchange Mt.Gox has had one of the worst rotten luck streaks within the bitcoin ecosystem. With users upset over the exchange, many are expected to take their business elsewhere. CoinMKT is fully aware of that, and is advertising on their site that they are “Welcoming Former Mt. Gox Traders”. CoinMKT claims their security is state of the art, and right now that is exactly what traders need to hear.

CoinMKT, the new bitcoin exchange has an opportunity to take control over the misfortunes clouding over Mt.Gox. Whether or not Mt.Gox bounces back, it may never reclaim the successes it once had.
