BIGbtc Digital Currencies’ Newest Player Aims to Spread Bitcoin Awareness
One of the most amazing things that occurred as a result of Bitcoin is that opportunities for people to start new businesses increased. As such, a new business has joined the cryptocurrency sphere. Its name is BIGbtc, Ltd. Bitcoin Integration Group and it has just launched a merchant integration program and is also developing a series of “Not Just Another Bitcoin 101” training workshops. It’s main goal is to spread the adoption of Bitcoin.
What is BIGbtc?
According to the press release, BIGbtc is a sponsor for the Canadian Bitcoin Expo 2014. BIGBtc’s founder and general manager, Brett Russell, said,
“You can setup all the Bitcoin web tutorials and YouTube videos you want. You can promise merchants a secure and profitable experience, but if the average merchant feels intimidated by the forces that be, they won’t adopt.”
Russell offered a solution to this problem and explained that a way merchants can adopt is,
“Put a warm body beside them, an experienced and competent person to hold their hand through the integration process, educate them on every aspect of payment processing best practices and on how to defend themselves against evil forces, they will adopt.”
Bitcoin’s success depends on the amount of people that accept the digital currency. This is why BIGbtc will aim to increase acceptance and adoption of Bitcoin by giving “professional onsite integration expertise.” The company will also continue to support merchants and give full day training workshops in order to help them understand the mechanics behind Bitcoin.
BIGbtc will also be in touch and have good relations with legal, information tech, and accounting firms across Canada. The company will be able to provide these connections to merchants easily.
BIGbtc Aims to Spread Bitcoin Awareness
BIGBtc believes that receiving up-to-date news from banks, law enforcement, accountants, tax attorneys, and regulators will influence merchants’ decision to use Bitcoin. Due to this, BIGbtc will aim to provide such services to ensure that merchants will be able to adopt Bitcoin with ease. Russell, BIGbtc’s founder, said,
“We will package our extensive knowledge and resources and deliver it to the merchants door. We will attend their locations, assess their working environment, identify weaknesses and report our findings.”
Russell feels confident that BIGbtc will be able to provide the necessary resources for merchants to start using Bitcoin. He continues,
“With our guidance and knowledge the merchant can secure the working environment, decide who the payment processor is, what wallet type and storage methods they want to use and what Point Of Sale system is best suited, BIGbtc will then do the integration.”
BIGbtc is hoping to gain new partners and extend this program of integration across Canada. The company also plans to go to America in Q4 of 2014. This initiative aims to help merchants become comfortable enough with Bitcoin to implement it in trading.
